Her name is Eunice Dianne Y. Algar, born on November 22,1999 at Calamba Medical Center in Laguna. Her family and friends call her Eunice for short, but they spell it as "Yunis" instead of "Eunice", she is the second eldest in her family with three other siblings. She has an older brother namely Francis Dale Y. Algar, a 21 year old and a 5th year  engineering student at UPLB (University of the Philippines Los Banos). He is Eunice's partner when it comes with fashion choices and with the latest movies. Her brother likes to play computer games and always the one who accompanies her whenever she needs to go somewhere. She and her brother  have the same traits of not being a social person; they just like to be quiet sometimes. Although Eunice's brother may be a quiet one, he's capable of being intelligent; laziness just takes over. The third eldest in their family is namely Sean Gabriel Y. Algar, a 15 year old grade 10 student at MHCC (Mary Help of Christians College). He is said to be her partner when it comes with arts or anything that needs creativity. Sean's not a sporty type, but someone who's a leader that really talks a lot. He is the most talkative, friendly and easy-going among them. He also likes computer games and capable of technical arts. Sean's day will never be complete until he doesn't tease her. The youngest in their family is consider to be their greatest gift they've received in the year 2013, she is a 3 year old girl namely Elisha Grace Y. Algar.  She is their sunshine. As young as she is, she has shown great skills in speaking English and loves to dance, sing, draw, and play! Elisha makes their days brighter with her cuteness and the happiness she brings in her family. Eunice used to describe herself as determined, optimistic and extraordinary. Her dream job is to be a journalist; whether in television, magazine, or newspaper. She wants to be part of bringing something meaningful to the society. Through the use of words, she can contribute something great and important to the people. Besides, being able to see her name in  published article surely makes her feel overwhelmed. Eunice's hero is her father. He's the one who can assure her that everything will be fine whenever they have problems. Her father never fails to find a solution with every problem. More than that, he really works hard to satisfy their needs as a family and always gives time and support them whenever he can. Her father really makes them feel happy and secured with the way he takes care of them. Eunice's biggest fear is losing someone she love. She is not the type of person who's scared with heights, spiders, or such, but the thought of losing someone dear to her really scares her. Her family is not that type of family who goes to vacation frequently. Last October 2016, she and her family had a simple vacation in Pangasinan, the province of her mother.When they were younger, they usually go there every other year but due to their busy schedules and other problems, they were not able to do it the way they usually do. After 6 years, they finally returned to Pangasinan. It's Eunice's favorite because she loved the long road trip, to be able to see how the old views have changed over the years and to bond more with her other cousins. More than that, it's their first time to bring Isha (her younger sister's nickname) to Pangasinan. Eunice is known for her big forehead, if she could change anything about herself, she would like to experience what it feels to have a small forehead. She's always curious about it. But she also like to change her personality of how to make friends; she wants to be a more social one. Eunice doesn't like a person who touches or uses her things without her permission, it makes her angry. She don't really like someone who interferes with her stuff, especially without her permission. She's also getting angry with crowded places and people who talks simultaneously without being sensitive to others. Eunice's greatest motivation is that she needs to work hard for her parents and for herself. She's working hard because she wants to make her parents proud and happy because taking care of a 4 children is no joke, especially when it comes with $their financial aspect and education. She works hard because it's for herself and for her future. Working hard makes her equipped with the future challenges and it's a stepping stone for what the future has to her. Her proudest accomplishment is being able to achieve and excel academically. It's always a great feeling to receive awards and be recognized. But more than that, practically speaking. She's also proud since she know how to commute alone, do chores, and other things that can be applied in real life. She loves reading young adult novels, especially when it talks about adventures, romance, or anything that has a light theme that makes her escape reality while reading. A book that makes her smile and let her experience like another kind of world. Eunice laugh the most when she’s with her friends, with all the jokes and random trips they do. So instead of what, it’s who. She have no particular favorite author, but she loved the books written by Jay Asher or Jennifer Niven. They are authors who wrote books that talk about the struggles of being a teenager – books that fit her generation. She likes surprises! Whether it’s a surprise when there’s a celebration or a surprise that refers to the unexpected challenges in life. Surprises, in celebrations, makes her feel overwhelmed because it reflects how the people dear to her values her, with the way they placed effort and given time to make her happy. In the same way, she likes surprising other people as well, especially when she was able to witness their priceless reactions. On the other hand, surprises that refer to the challenges in life makes her grow as a person and it’s what makes her like it. Her friends will usually describe her as someone who’s hyper, have a standard for friends, creative, and know how to prioritize, but also someone who’s lazy. They will also describe her as someone who has a big forehead and talks very quickly as if she's rapping. She likes reading young adult novels, doing creative stuff, journaling, watching American series, Korean dramas, and movies. Basically, these things are considered as her “me time.” Doing these makes her relieve stress. When she was 7 year old, she had her favorite childhood memory, it was her 7th birthday. Her parents and family's friends prepared a simple party for her wherein she felt like a princess. There was even a little photo shoot and a program with 7 roses, gifts, and wishes. She was speechless with all the gifts she have received that time and with the presence of her family and friends. But the most memorable in that event was her 3-layered cake her mother personally baked for her. She have too many favorite movies and she always loved the genre of romantic, comedy or combined. She likes movies wherein she can wrote lots of inspiring quotes. Some of the movies that she like are 27 Dresses, The Perks of Being A Wallflower, Me and Earl and the Dying Girl, and Me Before You. Eunice is neither introvert or extrovert, sometimes she found herself really open and easy going; times she can really voice out her opinions and bond with other people. But at the same time, there are moments when she just want to be quiet and secretive, not letting other know what she really feel and the thoughts she’s thinking about. Her first crush is when she was in grade 1. His name was Kim Sarsozo. What she can only remember about him is his tall height and being sporty-like. She has no particular life peg, but she’s always amazed with the people who become successful in the end despite encountering whatever problems that may challenge them to become successful. The type of clothes she usually wear depends on the situation or event. She’s the type who prefers doll shoes over sneakers, dresses over pants – she’s usually girly, but when in ordinary days or at home, she can make use of shirts, shorts or jeans. Girly outfits attract her more than other types. Probably what people like about her is how she do things responsibly. She always make sure that when she’s entrusted with a certain task; she needs to do it as soon as possible. They also say that she is optimistic and always smiling! When it comes with what they hate about her, probably it's her characteristic of being lazy when she don't feel joining spontaneous trips or her habit of always complaining. Her favorite subject in school is the subject that is hated by almost all of the students – Mathematics. She just like solving and finding solutions to problems. It makes her brain work more than other subjects do. Her most embarrassing moment happened when she’s just beginning to be the school's holy mass commentator. She announced to the audience to be seated when they are supposed to be standing. As a result, the priest celebrant was the one who asked them to stand once again. Eunice really felt ashamed when that moment happened that she almost want to stop doing that responsibility. Nevertheless, she learned from it. She likes TV cartoons such as Totally Spies, Kid’s Next Door, Pucca, Phineas and Ferb, Power Puff Girls, and Doraemon! With the cartoons now, she also likes Peppa Pig. Eunice consider herself as more on intelligence than looks. It’s what really she believe in ever since. Intelligence can lead her to a better state in the future more than looks can. Intelligence makes a person wiser, thus being capable to choose better decisions. But of course, it’s better to have both of it. Eunice belongs to a big group of friends and they are 10 in their group, they call it BYPAMEMACKK. It was hard for her to choose who's her favorite is since she’s really close in different ways to each one of them. But to answer the question, probably her favorite is Marianne Elemos. She’s her friend since first grade and someone who can really relate to her experience. She’s very trustworthy and never fails to check on our friendship! Despite being not classmates, she can always count on her. Eunice have no particular motto in life but she have a favorite bible verse. Psalm 46:5 "God is within her, she will not fall." Her ideal man is someone who is like her father. More than just good looks, her ideal man is someone who is committed, responsible, and no bad habits. She also prefer a man who is vocal and honest with what he's feeling. Eunice’s life is like a maze and she is continuously searching and trying to achieve her main goal! Sometimes she’ll feel like she chose the right way but sometimes she feel like she’s lost. Nevertheless, all of it is still part of the journey – and living is all about taking risks and trying new opportunities that will help her grow as a person. A surprising fact that Eunice doesn't like animals at all. Her loving family will always describe her as responsible – they describe her as a responsible daughter, sibling, and a student.
