1. What is an application?
2. How do we use an application?
3. What is blended learning and flipped classroom?
Answers:
1. An application is a program or system that lets the users entertain themselves or keep them up to date.
2. We use an application by clicking or tapping the app to open it.
3. Blended learning is an education program that combines online digital media with traditional classroom methods. While flipped classroom is a model in which the typical lecture and homework elements of a course are reversed.
Classification of apps
Describe and elaborate. Give 3 or more example for each and justify.
1. Presentation apps are apps that shows words, pictures or graphs. Presentation apps are very useful especially for businessmen/women because it can help them report to present their information.
Example: Word, Excel and OneNote are examples of presentation app because it can generate words, pictures and graphs.
2. File Sharing apps are apps that can transfer a file,music,image or even an app from a gadget to another gadget.
Example: Xender,Cloneit,and 4Share are good examples of FS apps for it lets the user’s gadget interact with another gadget to transfer or share an item.
3. Synchronous Collaboration apps are apps that can help to or more people to communicate without costing anything, but it requires internet connection.
Example: Kakaotalk,Wechat and FaceTime are SC apps because it can let two or more people collaborate, they can also use emojis,voice messaging or even video chatting.
4. Social Networking apps are apps that lets users to join with other people and keeping them updated with such things they are interested with.
Example: Instagram,Twitter and Tumblr are examples of SN apps for it lets the users not just to communicate or entertain themselves but to keep them up to date.
5. Search Engine apps are apps that lets users to search for something that they are interested with or something they need to research on.
Example: Google Chrome,Safari,Firefox are examples of SE apps because it lets the user try to search for something by tapping the search box.
6. Photo Editing apps are apps that lets the users edit their photos and give a better quality of the image.
Example: VSCO,Phonto,Typography are good examples of PE apps because it helps the users edit their photos or even put captions right through the photo.
7. Game Base Learning apps are apps that are not just for entertainment but it also for indicates learning experiences.
Example: Trivia Quiz, Jigsaw Puzzle and Scrabble are good examples of GBL apps because it exercises the minds of the users, they are not just entertained but they can give their minds challenges.

Types of Technology
A. Electronic Technology
Electrical technology deals with all machines, tools, devices, and systems in which a current or a flow of electrons takes place through conductors and metals. It involves the design and development of high-voltage systems and components such as motors, generators, heaters, electrical power transmission and distribution systems, radio wave and optical systems, converters, and control systems for operating light and heavy machinery. Almost all of our low or high-tech gadgets today involve the use of electrical current to operate, making electrical energy the main- and possibly the only- factor to define what electrical technology is.
B. Communications Technology
Electronic systems used for communication between individuals or groups. Communications technology facilitates communication between individuals or groups who are not physically present at the same location. Systems such as telephones, telex, fax, radio, television, and video are included, as well as more recent computer-based technologies, including electronic data inter charge and e-mail.
C. Industrial & Manufacturing Technology
Industrial Technology is the use of engineering and manufacturing technology to make production faster, simpler and more efficient.The industrial technology field employs creative and technically proficient individuals who can help a company achieve efficient and profitable productivity. Manufacturing technology is defined as computer-controlled or micro-electronics-based equipment used in the design, manufacture or handling of a product.
D. Medical Technology
Medical technology refers to the diagnostic or therapeutic application of science and technology to improve the management of health conditions. Technologies may encompass any means of identifying the nature of conditions to allow intervention with devices, pharmacological, biological or other methods to increase life span and/or improve the quality of life. Medical Technology is used as an analyzer of a person’s body in order to detect issues and gather information.

C. WHY. Each category has its significance in educational platform whereas it can
help students enhance their technology skills especially in dealing with their
chosen courses in which involves more on technology. These will help
students learn easily and to motivate them to study harder through the use
of advance technology. Teachers will be more productive and teach their
students way more easy and can be more flexible in their works and time
with their family and friends. Teachers and students can communicate
effectively and easily through electronic devices such computer or phones.
And lastly, they can be updated always with their school works especially in
creating a group through social networking in order to discuss certain topics.
